According to "man networks", the netmasks should be placed in the file /etc/networks and look like: your-net 127 # your comment your-netmask 255.255.255 # subnet mask for your-net mynet 123.456.789 123.456.789 255.255.255 but neither mynet 123.456.789 123.456.789 255.255.255 nor mynet 123.456.789 123.456.789 255.255.255.0 works. Would some one please tell me where should I set the subnet masks? Thanks, -Jin
