Hello!

I have been trying to install FreeBSD for 2 days now and I am almost
gone crazy. For now i have progressed to the moment when the installer says

CANNOT LOAD THE ROOT DISTRIBUTION. PLEASE CORRECT THE PROBLEM
AND TRY AGAIN.

I am installing 2.1.0-R
I have P5-133mhz, 16MB, TOMATO 5DHX (HX chipset) Motherboard
and i have 2 hdds

Western Digital 21600 (as Primary Master, DOS partition for WIndows95)
Western Digital 21200 (as Secondary Master, fully for FreeBSD)

Since my type of CD-ROM is not supprted i copied the first CD into
the DOS partition and started install.bat from there.

Since the first try i tried the following:

1. Choosing a compatible freebsd partition
2. chooing a dedicated freebsd partition
3. Changing geometry to the LBA params (as in BIOS)
4. CHanging geometry to the physical params (the real ones)
5. Coping the DIST dir into /FREEBSD/DIST
6. Coping the DIST dir from cd into /FREEBSD (withoou DIST, as the
install.txt says)
in any case i always chose to install BootManager (cannot work without it!)

still, nothing works, it says: CANNOT LOAD THE ROOT DISTRIBUTION

Please, help me!

Thanx
Artem Koutchine
