Hi, Is it possible to powerdown an ATX computer when doing a halt from FreeBSD? Also is it possible to automatically shutdown FreeBSD when I switch it off with the off-switch at the front? Linux seems to able to do this (the first part at least) and uses the APM interface for it, while the APM power off seems to implemented in FreeBSD too, it misses a reference to it in kern_shutdown.c, or *I*'m missing it. Could someone clarify this please? Regards, Marc. PS. Only the apm.c in -current seems to have support for the power off function, is there any reason why this wouldn't work in -stable? ---------------------------------------------------- Marc van Kempen BowTie Technology Email: marc@bowtie.nl WWW & Databases tel. +31 40 2 43 20 65 fax. +31 40 2 44 21 86 http://www.bowtie.nl ----------------------------------------------------
