What's wrong with the current (1998-03-19) 2.2.6-BETA sources?

The entire system was cvsupped and recompiled yesterday (1998-03-18)
and everything was ok then (the uname output below).

arnold:~> uname -a
FreeBSD arnold 2.2.6-BETA FreeBSD 2.2.6-BETA #0: Wed Mar 18 10:17:46 CET 1998     root@arnold:/usr/src/sys/compile/ARNOLD  i386

I forgot to build the profiling libs, so I thought I'd run buildworld
again during night time. Before that I cvsupped the sources, but seems
like it was a mistake...

ROOT arnold:/usr/src>make -DNOGAMES buildworld
...
===> gnu/usr.bin/cc/cpp
".depend", line 9: Need an operator
make: fatal errors encountered -- cannot continue
*** Error code 1

/Martti
