I agree with Jordan.

Why not.  On my box 'sd1s1' is *NOT* a FreeBSD partition.

Ok, but that doesn't make the second form any more intuitive.

IMHO, just because a slice is built doesn't mean it should contain
FreeBSD partition entries.  I think the current code as written does the
right thing, in that it assumes that if you need any partition entries,
you might as well get them all. :)
