(Remember derivatives, in high school? :-)). There is intelligence between the various Linux suppliers, and I suspect that DG knows such info. That is probably why the Linux crew is getting *more* aggressive and not less, and more self-assurred. The growth is flattening, and business models based upon exponential growth are very different than flat growth or (like Microsoft) saturated market.
