On a -current rebuilt last night, running top, I noticed a process with a larger resident size than total size: PID USERNAME PRI NICE SIZE RES STATE TIME WCPU CPU COMMAND 24301 joelh 2 0 296K 480K connec 0:00 0.00% 0.00% fetchmail When I went to RTFM, I discovered that the pager I was using to RTFM did the same thing: 24361 joelh 3 0 268K 324K ttyin 0:00 0.00% 0.00% less The rest of the processes were normal (ie, SIZE >= RES). Am I misunderstanding this display, or is there wierdness here?
