I don't mean to be rude, but if you're going to post this question to 
a public mailing list, you don't need to send a slightly different 
version to me personally too.  I read this list....

Aren't you going to give the rest of the information (your startup 
reports the output of ``ifconfig tun0'' twice implying that ppp is 
being started twice).
