That is exactly what it's supposed to do!  It should echo the
word "Samba", then redisplay your command line prompt.  To be 
sure that it is running, try
   ps -ax | grep smbd
and see if it is running.  If so, the answer to "Now what do I do"
is: use Samba!  You now ought to be able to utilize whatever shares
you have defined in your smb.conf file.
