With all the trouble people are having with the ports, I thought I'd point
out that you don't really need one.  I've been updating and compiling out of
the Gnome CVS tree a few times a week for the last few months.  There were
a few glitches for FreeBSD early on, but they've cleaned those up.  As
long as you have all the pieces of "gettext" properly installed, it should
be compile and go (unless the tree is broken, of course).
