I have received permission from the author of this article to publish it 
on my website.  This article was first published at UniForum NZ 99 held in 
Rotorua, New Zealand 13-17 April 1999.  It makes for interesting reading.  
Some bits are quite funny.

Regardless of what people think, I'm sure it will make for interesting 
dicussion.

I've submitted it to slashdot.

Before you consider flaming, read the article.
