I, too, support free speech. I used to read Brett's messages, even discuss 
things with him. Now I delete them without reading. After all, you have 
read one of his messages, you have read them all.

I am opposed to banning Brett from our mail lists, as that would set a 
dangerous precedent. Otherwise, the day might come I'd be saying: "When 
they came for Brett, I did not protest because he was a troll..... When 
they came for me, there was no one left to protest."

Besides, it is my suspicion, all the people who keep rebutting Brett, 
*want* to discuss things with him (or perhaps just hope to cause him 
a heart attack). Everyone knows that he will respond to every single 
message to him, so if they really did not want to see his messages, they 
would ignore him, or even filter him out.
