Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a digital camera, but of course it
has to be usable from my FreeBSD box (-current). In looking at
the Kodak series, they seem to support the PCMCIA-ATA standard.

So, instead of communicating directly with the camera, I was
thinking about purchasing a reader from SanDisk:

   http://www.sandisk.com/cons/imagemate-USB.htm

   referenced from:

   http://www.kodak.com/US/en/digital/accessories/memory/usbReader.shtml

Basically, it appears to be a combination of PCMCIA-ATA
support melded together with USB.

Does anyone have any experience with this unit? Am I correct
that with USB support coming onboard in -current that it would
be feasible to get a driver working?

Thanks!
John
