Yes its perfect for the job apart from:

man mount_null 

 THIS FILESYSTEM TYPE IS NOT YET FULLY SUPPORTED (READ: IT DOESN'T WORK)
   AND USING IT MAY, IN FACT, DESTROY DATA ON YOUR SYSTEM.  USE AT YOUR OWN
   RISK.  BEWARE OF DOG.  SLIPPERY WHEN WET.
   This code also needs an owner in order to be less dangerous - serious
   hackers can apply by sending mail to hackers@freebsd.org and announcing
   their intent to take it over.

I actually tried it a few weeks ago and yes it did screw up files :-(
(that was on stable - my current box is broken but checking CVS man page 
it looks like the warning still applies)

But I'd be happy to hear it works on current!
