No, that doesn't suffice.  Donations to FreeBSD Inc. have always been 
used for the best interests of the project; this includes buying hardware 
as required or as incentives to developers that have put in stellar 
efforts.

You appear to be largely ignoring one of my jobs.  8)  I've been one of 
the people responsible for making this happen for a while now, so don't 
be so surprised that I'm a little ticked off that you don't seem to have 
noticed.

Suffice it to say, perhaps, that as a general rule hardware _does_ end up 
in the hands of people that can do something with it, and that this 
hardware comes from wherever seems to be the most effective source at the 
time.  We don't make a lot of noise about it at least in part because 
this isn't about making noise, it's about getting things done.
