I have searched and read everything I can find on this subject, but still cannot seem to find any diagnostic documentation for an alpha PC164 board. I picked it up on ebay from Sysmerica, 500Mhz. 4 32M 72pin Parity SIMMs (one 60ns, 3 70ns). Tried about 6 different video cards and cannot get a screen. Does anyone have any suggestions? I put the 50hz oscillator in (I think backwards for a moment, is that bad?) I removed all the frequency jumpers (multiplier of 15) 128bit Memory jumper is on (4 SIMMs) Power supply powers up, standard ATX case/ps from Global (I hope I did not botch my solder job to fix the power switch). Sometimes I get garble out of the serial ports like: ..xxx..x.DSD Thanks ahead, -Kevin To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-alpha" in the body of the message
