Basically, 4.0-RELEASE isn't usable. It took me a month to get installed. My questions re "can't get anywhere without my init" went largely unanswered. After that month, I found it wouldn't run my app anyway (see Problem Report alpha/18808). No one seems that interested. I suggest you move the "alpha port" back into "under development".
