In case no one else answers ..  in Germany ( where most of the ISDN
developers are) ADSL is supplied by Deutsche Telecom as TDSL, by a seperate
(rented not purchased) box on the wall that links to your computer by 10M UTP
twisted ethernet.  So I guess there may not be much experience with PC bus ADSL 
cards (if such exist ?)  I don't know for sure & don't have ADSL myself, but
do know people happily using FreeBSD & NetBSD with TDSL.
