I'm guessing that 4.1-RC is not supported by *any* version of the
VMWare port...  But you'd need to check with the maintainer for sure.

Comment:  I know I sound like a broken record, but it would be much
better if the VMWare port were configured so that all *released* versions
of FBSD >= 4.0, at least, were supported.  I'm not smart enough to
do the work myself, but I can volunteer to test versions on 4.0 Rel.
