Subject: [HELP] USB , Gateway Solo 2150 and CURRENT
Message-ID: <200008311223.OAA02849@proton.hexanet.fr>

next in thread | raw e-mail | index | archive | help

I am running CURRENT on my Gateway Solo 2150 Laptop

among the problems I have

uhci0 keeps telling me this:

uhci0: <Intel 82371AB/EB (PIIX4) USB controller> at device 7.2 on pci0
uhci0: Invalid irq 255
uhci0: Please switch on USB support and switch PNP-OS to 'No' in BIOS

However I have no option to switch on or off USB support in my Laptop BIOS

I can it seems set on or off the PNP thing even though it is not called that
way
in the PhoenixBios ( it is called Other/Win95/Win98-2000 i think :))

How can do to make my USB support work ?

I also still have the problem of my PCMCIA-Cardbus DLINK DFE 660TX ethernet
card
that is not supported under FreeBSD , but it work very well under Linux
I wonder if someone could not port the Linux driver under FreeBSD ?

below is my full dmesg in the event it could help somebody answer my queries :)
