I was wondering if "make update" is a target in the ports tree and
if it is, does it do what one would expect.

I could have sworn I say some emails about this in the Mailing list
archives, but couldnt go back and find the references. I was looking
at another issue and glossed over that part and cant go find the same
again. Perhaps it is just this gray matter leaking from my ear a.k.a
a memory leak???

Thanks,
David
