Fact: it had been broken for around two weeks. Fact: -current users are told to read -current. Developers of -current are expected to do the same, or at least skim read it for topics relevant to their changes. Perhaps Andrey should have cc'ed you the change, but that is no reason to attack his commit like that (at least, I read it as an attack). A more constructive approach would have been to ask Andrey what was wrong and why the change was needed, rather than "You should have discussed this with me first." in public, and inviting a public reply. We are supposed to be a team effort, and nobody has an "exclusive lock" on bug fixes, especially for a common area like src/etc. IMHO, the fix was what was needed given the current internals of savecore(8). Do you see it differently?
