It's supported in FreeBSD 4.2 and later.

I've obviously tested it; I don't know of anyone currently using it in 
production though.

There are others, however the AMI card is a good choice.  You should 
pester AMI about getting your hands on their management tools; they've 
been working on them for a while now.
