everytime a I make a new port or update an existing one (dhclient,
elm+ME, etc.), I send a shar archive w/ comments to the official
maintainer of the port.  Ted Lemon in the present case, Kari E. Hurtta
for elm+ME, etc.  sometimes, they integrate the changes in the next
release, sometimes not. I can't do more.
