There is actually a CD in the drive right? 2. Run "cdcontrol -f /dev/acd0c info" to get a list of the CD tracks. Make sure track 1 is present and is an audio track. If you get an error from this command then your CD isn't inserted properly, your CD is bad, your drive is bad, or your drive isn't supported. 3. Make sure /dev/acd0t1 actually exists.
