The advisory was released some time back; read it :-)

Read the handbook for the 'make world' upgrade procedure, the Right
Way To Do It has some other steps in there.

It doesn't touch anything there; most ports should be fine, except for
things like lsof which have their fingers in the kernel and generally
need to be recompiled each time you update.
