Actually, I simply made the comment with the expectation that I
would be having a pile of mail in the morning.  This wasn't intended
as a sneak attack at all.

While I don't mind you quoting IRC logs, you should at least keep the
dates straight; the quotes below are from a week or two back, not yesterday.

Um, let me get this straight.  Various people have been discussing this
for about two weeks, in forums where *you are present*, and by your own
admission, you're aware of what's coming, yet there is this claim that
you had no input in the process?

I'm sorry, I simply don't buy that.

Anyway, I think that when all is said and done, regardless of how things
were (or were not) handled, there are certain benefits from the new layout
that we should see moving forward.
