Okay, let's see...
I found my computer name and workgroup.
It appears to be configured as a client for microsoft networking.
We are running microsoft networking through an NT machine.

My questions, specifically, would be:

Can i connect to microsoft networking as a client?
Can i skip the ms networking and just get a TCP/IP connection?
Do i need to worry about netbeui?

HTH, TIA
