I am running the latest. Suddenly I have issues with it. pam.conf and inetd.conf are both setup okay. imapd is run under wrapped in hosts.allow. Here are the settings: #### hosts.allow: imapd : 62.8.64.0/24 62.8.65.0/24 62.8.66.0/24 62.8.67.0/24 : allow imapd : ALL : deny ipop3d : 62.8.64.0/24 62.8.65.0/24 62.8.66.0/24 62.8.67.0/24 : allow ipop3d : ALL : deny wash:~$ grep imap /etc/inetd.conf imap4 stream tcp nowait root /usr/local/libexec/imapd imapd ###### A test gives me this: admin:~$ telnet ns2 143 Trying 62.8.64.4... Connected to ns2.wananchi.com. Escape character is '^]'. * BYE Service not available ns2.wananchi.com IMAP4rev1 2001.307 at Wed, 5 Sep 20 01 08:52:43 +0300 (EAT) Connection closed by foreign host. Does anyone know what could be my undoing? I've also run it without being wrapped but I still get the same. Now all clients are on my neck!
