I've commited some changes to my port as well as some standard stuff for PORTDOCS_JAVA, PORTDOCS_API_JAVA. Maybe the way I use ant could help you Ernst for the implementation of the USE_ANT variable in <bsd.java.mk>. The whole stuff is builded from source using ant. Everything is at : http://www.iut-gtr.univ-mrs.fr/~quiroz/freebsd/ Herv=E9 PS: What is the point in building ant from source ? IMHO it is useful only if everything that ant depends on is also builded in separate ports (crimson, jaxp...).
