You should include your dmesg output (since each firmware rev from
Intersil slowly appears to make hostAP mode more reliable).  I just
picked up an eval 200mW from .tw today..

wi0: Intersil Firmware: Primary 1.00.07, Station 1.03.06

This is the first card I've seen with such a recent version.  The D-Link
520 appears to have 1.03.04 (which I've done all my hostAP mode testing
with).  I've had great success with any Prism2.5 or Lucent-based NIC
connecting, Cisco isn't happy.
