Correct, I don't think monitor mode for Hermes (Lucent Orinoco) has been
ported into FreeBSD yet.

Once this is added to FreeBSD (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't think it
exists, since dstumbler doesn't work with my Lucent card 6.16.01 f/w), I
can trial-n-error various f/w versions to expierment.  It would also be
nice to play around with IBSS-n-pals.  Warners favorite mode ;)
