Though I wasn't affected by the renumbering, it is odd that David did it or was asked to do it without consulting the owners or -hubs first. It is good to see some new servers around, one of which took up cvsup6.au becuase cvsup6.au use to be an alias for cvsup5.au :) > Looks like the new cvsup mirror is single homed to Optus. > > Anyone heard anything about it? If your taking about the PlanetMirror one then yes, I helped Jason get that one running. <slightly-unrelated> There is a quirk with it which I noticed the other day but haven't had a chance to ask him about. When you use net/cvsup-mirror to mirror the tree, dont use that server because when it hits distrib-all, it guts the folder (/usr/local/etc/cvsup/sup). Because its 2 frontend Linux boxes, scripts and config were munged together to get it to work, im guessing that bit was missed. </slightly-unrelated> > Thanks, > > Andrew Cheers, Jarrod Sayers Information Strategy and Technology Services University of South Australia Phone: +61 8 8302 4809 "There are only 10 types of people in the world: Those who understand binary, and those who don't" To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-hubs" in the body of the message
