Subject: NFS file unlocking problem

Running RELENG_5_0 as nfs server with a Solaris 2.5 client.
rpc.statd and rpc.lockd both running on FreeBSD, lockd and
statd both running on Solaris. Locking a file (flock) works
fine, but when an attempt to unlock it is made, the client
session hangs. The program is typically (but not always)
uninterruptible, and I have to kill the login session.

I've tried enabling debug logging on rpc.lockd, but nothing gets
logged, and locking doesn't work.

FreeBSD and Solaris as client both work fine when the server is
Solaris or Linux.

The strangest thing is that I actually had it working for a while,
but it stopped, for reasons unkown.

I'd appreciate any information, or ideas of other things
to try.

Thanks.
Steve
