Say, I start a process as follows (just an example of a daemon): /usr/bin/nice --10 /usr/local/sbin/httpd -DSSL Would this aversely affect overall FreeBSD (4.10) performance when the daemon is idle? Or only when it actually starts doing something? Thanks, - Mark
