I did test a few things:
 - with no /etc/host.conf and no /etc/nsswitch.conf
 - with default /etc/host.conf
 - with default /etc/nsswitch.conf
 - with /etc/nsswitch.conf looking like :

 ,------
 | hosts: files [foo=test bar=test baz=test] \
 | dns
 `------

Does "fine with me" means "go ahead" ?

I guess a MFC after 1 week is ok.
