I had neither in my environment so I added them and there was a =20
change. The dead keys printed correctly but weren't dead. The same =20
with xim. I am seeing this on different laptops and one multiple =20
desktop keyboards. They are all runing KDE and the desktops are =20
running FreeBSD 7.1-PRERELEASE and the laptop uptodate Current.

I'm going to give it a try because we have been using openoffice since =20
1.x without problems and without having to learn about SCIM ;)
