There is one thing that someone wrote in his post, labeling "php.ini" as "PHP.INI" or "PHP.ini". Last night I cp'd the php-ini-devel* to PHP.ini. I think I'm probably barking up the wrong tree. A quick, recursive grep did find "PHP" in some files. But ``find /usr/ports _blah_'' found no PHP.ini.
