Of course that is the way to go on the server side, but right now I'm looking for a RFC 2136 client to run on a router. I'ld prefer not to pull in a whole nameserver infrastructure just to get a client program. I had a look at the bind-tools port, but it apparently does not contain nsupdate. Wolfgang
