/usr/src/UPDATING: 20130905: The PROCDESC kernel option is now part of the GENERIC kernel configuration and is required for the rwhod(8) to work. If you are using custom kernel configuration, you should include 'options PROCDESC'. There is no later entry advising not to use it, yet it seems to have gone from all generic kernels.
