Hi all,

I installed FreeBSD 4.4 with the kern.fpl, mfsroot.flp and the cdrom on a
Dell Inspiron 2600. As I boot from floppy i configured the kernel via CLI
(eisa 0) then he was able to boot from cdrom. The installation was
successful, but after installation he always boots (with the internal
FreeBSD boot manager) the generic kernel (instead of my costumized kernel
whit the eisa option equal zero)

here is the error, on which he hangs:

pci0: <unknown card> (vendor=0x8086, dev=0x2486) at 31.6 irq 10

please give me an exact decription how I can change this kernel option, I
am a bsd n00b ;)

please share your knowledge with me... thx

Cheers
Adrian
