Can I just easy-import it with a vendor id of LITE2 or something and it'll DTRT? This has always been where my CVS knowledge gets fuzzy, and why I've never updated our version of GNU tar to 1.18 (I knew I'd have to do it as a contrib thing, and that'd involve branch hair :-).
