Subject:   SCSI Tape Drive Error

  This is an error I get when I am testing a tape.
Using the following command like a verify:

tar tvf /dev/rst0 > <filename>

Filename gets compared to backup log of original time and 
day of backup for accuracy of log and tape.

This is the only device attached to the scsi chain

Any idea on what can be causing this I would be much appreciated.
Tested all my tapes and I get the same error but is allways 
on a different area of where the backup was..
