Hi again!

I have now sorted the problem with the connection - it seems that our
router was not to blame - actually it was my fault! The cable was
faulty, and would not connect!! Should have checked the obvious instead
of wasting your precious time, sorry....

However, my next question is quite valid - how do I login as ROOT from a
telnet session? I would assume that it has been disabled for security
reasons, but I need remote access. I have already found out that to
allow ROOT to access via FTP, you need to hash it out in the FTPUSERS
file in /ETC. No problem. But there dosen't seem to be the same type
of file for TELNET users?

Hope you can help!

Many thanks,

Glenn Johnson
