I am trying to install FreeBSD 2.2.5 on a Dell Dimension XPS 300Mhz
Pentium II machine. The machine boots from the CD-ROM, goes through
the list of devices, and seems to hang when sysintall starts, leaving me

with
a blank screen and the cursor in the lower left corner.

I've tried removing conflicting drivers using the visual method of
kernel
configuration but keep getting the same result. I have also tried using

the
boot floppy, same result.

The system is configured as follows:

128Mb RAM
6.0 Gb Maxtor Drive
6.0 Gb Western Digital Drive

Any help would be appreciated.
