Question, I am trying to set up pop3 using freeBSD 2.2.6 and I am following the instructions according to "The Complete FreeBSD" by Greg Lehey. The book says all I need to do is uncomment the line in /etc/inetd.conf that reads; pop3 stream tcp nomait root /usr/local/libexec/popper popper then add user pop and I did so according to the book. after I do so and reboot, I get the following messages. Aug 19 16:29:46: zeus inetd[221]: cannot execute /usr/local/libexec/popper: no such file or directory I do a ls in /usr/local/libexec and there is no popper. how do I install popper correctly? or what did I do wrong?
