Hi! I want to enable NIS on my bsd box. The NIS server is another bsd
box. I have run ypserv on the server, and ypbind on my box. Things seem
ok, because ypcat, ypmatch etc work. But I am unable to log in on my
machine with any user id on the server. Could it be something to do with
bsd's policy of not servicing requests on non-priviledged ports ? Can
someone help ?

Thanks in advance

Ritwik
