Hi Folks,

I just did something unwise:

# mv /a/b/c/ ..

Now the c directory is gone completely. Can anybody explain why and how?

Here are the details:

# df
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Avail Capacity Mounted on
miraculix:/u/wd0 38788812 1608700 34077008 5% /a
# uname -a
FreeBSD amnesix.i-clue.de 4.2-STABLE FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE #1: Thu Dec 21
22:36:46
CET 2000 so@amnesix.i-clue.de:/usr/src/sys/compile/AMNESIX-4.2-S
i386

Hope somebody jumps on this..
