If you're using FreeBSD, you can do:
cd /usr/ports/www/apache13; make all install
(make sure you are logged in a root when you do this)

Assuming that you're using FreeBSD, then you are in exactly the right
place.  If you're using some other type of UNIX, then you need to find
the correct forum for that UNIX.
If you're REAL new to FreeBSD, you may want to subscribe to freebsd-newbies
