I haven't been following this for some time, but my understanding is 
that LinkSys uses the Prism2 chipset in a non-standard way, and refuses 
to release information to open source developers, so things are slowly 
being reverse engineered.  That may be old news, but in any case the 
place to get the latest news about wireless drivers is usually the 
freebsd-mobile mailing list and its archives.
